Baptism

Thinking about getting baptized?

Baptism is a public celebration declaring your choice to follow Jesus Christ. At Crosspoint, we believe every baptism has a story, and we want to help you tell yours by taking this next step in your journey.

Your baptism tells the story of an obedient believer who is unafraid to proclaim their faith in the crucified, buried, and risen savior!

Your baptism opens the door for family, friends, and strangers to learn more about the good news of Jesus through your story. In taking this next step, you are a living testimony of how placing faith in Jesus changes lives for the better.

Crosspoint recommends you be baptized again if you have not been baptized by immersion since you became a believer. It does not devalue a prior experience. A second baptism simply reflects your desire to be baptized in the same way Jesus was.

Yes! If each family member fully understands the meaning of baptism, and each one has personally placed their trust in Christ for salvation, we encourage families to be baptized at the same time. It is a wonderful expression of commitment!
